CHASADY AND DAN’S SUPER COOL LONDON WEDDING

I’m not ashamed to say I literally JUMPED at the chance to do Chas and Dan's wedding videography - after all, what self-respecting alternative wedding videographer would turn down the prospect of a couple's shoot against the backdrop of Brick Lane street art?! Especially when it was followed by a wedding ceremony at Marylebone Town Hall, AKA one of the coolest wedding venues in London!

BRICK LANE WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHY

As a wedding videographer, there's nothing I love more than a couple who makes their wedding video a big fat priority, and Chas and Dan were 100% this couple. After their first look at The Andaz Hotel , we hopped in a black cab to Brick Lane, the perfect place to shoot some wedding videography against the Shoreditch street art and the hustle and bustle of one of the coolest spots in town.

Chasady's gorge Moonlight Bridal wedding dress, via Silk Bridal Easton, cut a super sleek silhouette and I bloody loved the addition of tulle gloves and baby pink sunglasses to match her beautiful bouquet by Natural Creations, too. In fact, the whole get-up looked epic AF against the backdrop of the Brick Lane graffiti!

The couple were hilarious, playful, and up for having a load of fun in front of the camera—we even chucked in a couple of cheeky smoke bombs with their bridesmaids and groomsmen before catching an iconic London red bus across the city for their Marylebone Town Hall wedding.

OLD MARYLEBONE TOWN HALL WEDDING CELEBRATIONS

As an alternative wedding videographer, there's something pretty humbling about filming weddings in a legendary London wedding venue like Old Marylebone Town Hall. It was amazing to think that Chas and Dan were saying their vows in the same place as rock ’n’ roll royalty such as Paul McCartney, Liam Gallagher, and Ringo Starr. Anyone who knows me knows that I am a Beatles fanatic so I may have lost my SH*T at this. I also couldn't help but wonder whether they had a wedding film and who did their wedding videography. If you know… tell me!

No wedding day would be complete without an absolute storm of amazing confetti and Flutter, Darlings! really packed a punch! With everyone gathered on the famous steps of Marylebone Town Hall, Chas and Dan's family and friends let rip, and I managed to capture a banger of a confetti shot for their wedding film.

FUN AND ALTERNATIVE WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHY

After the confetti storm and some fun group shots in front of the building, it was time to head back to the London buses for Chas and Dan's wedding reception at The Ivy City Garden. The couple had hired the whole venue, and it looked FAB decked out with pretty pink florals and candles.

With the speeches done and dusted and three delish courses polished off, there was only one thing left to do... DANCE! Every wedding videographer hopes and prays for a packed dancefloor, and with music from the amazing Laura Broad, it did not disappoint - she really knows how to bring the party! I jumped right in the middle of all the action and had a good ol’ boogie whilst also shooting loads of high-spirited dance-floor footage in the midst of all the giant LED glowsticks; it was SO. MUCH. FUN!

AN ICONIC LONDON WEDDING DAY

I bloody loved the way each part of Chas and Dan's London wedding had a distinct vibe, each with its own WOW factor—from the vibrancy and culture of Brick Lane to the rock 'n’ roll history of Marylebone Town Hall, rounded off with the chic modern sophistication of The Ivy City Garden on Liverpool Street. The whole wedding day was like a love letter to London—as a wedding videographer, it was an absolute JOY to shoot, and I loved every single minute of it!
